The owners of a renovated character home wanted a resort-like oasis they never had to leave. Botanic Landscape Architects made an outdoor kitchen, fireplace and louvred pergola the entertaining hub, with a secondary pergola nook overlooking a heated pool, plus an outdoor shower and changing room.
For family fun there is artificial turf lawn, a putting green and a basketball court. A contemporary palette of porcelain tile and rendered concrete provides a refined backdrop, while cold-hardy palms and lush, tropical-inspired planting bring the holiday feel to life in Christchurch’s climate.
