The client dreamed of a subtropical oasis to complement a newly renovated home, refined over years into a design built around circular geometry. Winfield Landscapes made a quarter-circle deck set into a large circular lawn the central feature, then organised the whole garden around it.
Corten steel circle rings guide visitors from the front door between Ficus Tuffi hedges for a secret-garden feel, each ring framing a glimpse of the next. A retaining wall and reinforced pad carry a spa; dense subtropical planting of palms and lush foliage gives the low-maintenance, tropical atmosphere; and Bluetooth lighting and zoned drip irrigation keep it thriving. With rear access just 0.8 metres wide, every material was carried in by hand around mature trees.
