Mace Landscape Group is seeking an experienced Nursery Procurement & Dispatch Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Takanini, Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate processing of incoming plant orders, liaising with suppliers and operations teams, and support the smooth installation of our soft landscaping contracts through efficient procurement of all required plant material.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work alongside the nursery team to process incoming orders accurately and efficiently
  • Procure all required plants from our own nursery or a nationwide network of suppliers
  • Oversee incoming stock control and dispatch processes, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders 
  • Provide exceptional support to our clients and ops teams
  • Collaborate with the wider Mace team to support the company’s overall business objectives


What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a commercial horticulture, landscaping or nursery environment
  • Strong customer service and excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in inventory management, stock control, and order fulfilment processes
  • Ability to work within a team, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Sound knowledge of horticulture practices and industry regulations, and plant varieties commonly used within the landscape market

The Role:

You will be responsible for running landscape construction sites from start to finish, including:

  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and presentation

Experienced gardener | Garden care

You will work alongside a Team Leader while looking after a portfolio of our clients’ gardens. Carrying out tasks such as tree and shrub pruning, hedge-trimming, weed control and lawn mowing, as well as working flexibly to assist other teams when needed. We want you to be an expert in all things garden maintenance.

This role will suit someone who is a skilled landscape gardener, with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.

About the Role

Success in this role comes from balancing commercial thinking with exceptional client service. You will identify opportunities to grow recurring revenue, optimise technician utilisation, improve systems and processes, and ensure every client receives an outstanding experience from first enquiry through to completed work.

Working closely with the Pool Service, Pool Valet, and wider Humphreys teams, you will help drive operational excellence while contributing to the continued growth and success of the division.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the operational delivery and commercial performance of the Pool Service Division 
  • Drive profitable growth through technical expertise, quality solutions, and sales opportunities 
  • Coordinate resources, and workflow to maximise productivity and client satisfaction 
  • Build trusted client relationships and provide expert technical advice and solutions 
  • Improve operational performance through continuous improvement of systems and processes 
  • Contribute as a key member of the Pools Division leadership team, helping shape the future direction of the business
